For my bachelorette, I decided I wanted to visit three countries in the Caribbean and Anguilla was one of those countries! To be honest, I had never heard about it but after researching and visiting, it’s now one of my favorite places. It’s so beautiful and I highly recommend you add it to your travel bucket list!
Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the Eastern Caribbean, which comprises of a small main island and several offshore islets. Anguilla has some of the most beautiful turquoise waters and their beaches have some of the softest white sand I’ve ever seen!
There are two main ways to visit: fly into St. Martin and take a ferry there or book a boat tour from St. Martin (like I did). My friends and I booked two boat tours via Viator and both were so much fun! They were two different companies and I recommend them both.
Both crews were fantastic. On the first boat tour, I drifted away a bit (the current is strong!) and I was able to get picked up by one of the crew members. On the second boat tour, I got a ride to shore on the boat and I also dropped my hat into the ocean and the crew members dove and got it for me! Both boat tours come with snacks, lunch, and unlimited drinks! I highly recommend both tours as they takes you to the most beautiful turquoise waters where you can snorkel, swim, or even go to a beach in Anguilla.
