The Ultimate Cuban Food and Drink Bucket List!

Here at Enthusiastic About Life, we are huge fans of all sorts of different food. As I travel the United States, I love seeing how different states do Cuban Food. Check out all of the Cuban Food restaurants I’ve eaten at throughout the United States and let me know which spot sounds the best!

Arizona

Coabana

Coabana is one of my favorite spots in Phoenix. It is a Cuban inspired restaurant with incredible food and cocktails! I love their picadillo empanadas.

Their mojitos are amazing!

All of their rum based cocktails are so good!

One of my favorite drinks is the Cuba Libre.

Their cubanos are delicious!

I love their ropa vieja dish! The rice and beans are also the perfect sides!

The arroz con pollo is also tasty!

California

Habana Vieja

My friends, I officially have a new favorite restautant in Los Angeles! Say hello to this enormous plate of arroz frito Cubano (Cuban fried rice) from Habana Vieja Cuban Cuisine! Not only is this more than enough for like three people (lol), it is DELICIOUS, packed with flavor (you can thank the shrimp, ham, pork, chicken, and literally every meat in the world), but the staff is super friendly and although they don’t sell alcohol, they let you bring in wine and beer! I of course paired this tasty dish with some wine and it was perfection!

Florida

El Pub Restaurant

El Pub Restaurant in Little Havana has the most delicious picadillo empanadas and their cafecito is also excellent!

Cortadito Coffee House

I had a delicious guava and cream cheese pastry at Cortadito Coffee House. Their cortaditos were excellent!

Los Pinarenos Fruteria

Los Pinarenos Fruteria in Little Havana is a great spot to get some fruit juice on a hot day!

Party Cake Bakery

The best guava and cheese pastries can be found at Party Cake Bakery in Little Havana! I had two because they were that good!

Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar

Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar in Little Havana has amazing mojitos and delicious cubanos! I also love their fries!

Cuba Libre

If you are looking for delicious flan, then look no further than Cuba Libre in Orlando! This tiny piece was so rich and incredible! It had dulce de leche, whipped cream and a vanilla cookie!

Cafe Versailles

You cannot go to Miami and not check out Cafe Versailles! They’re one of the oldest restaurants and have delicious cafecito, ropa vieja, and so many other plates!

The empanadas and yucca fries are amazing!

Havana Restaurant

You already know I had to feature my favorite meal while in Florida: a media noche from Havana Restaurant! A medianoche is a type of sandwich that originated in Cuba and is very similar to a Cubano sandwich! Both sandwiches have roast pork, ham, mustard, Swiss cheese, and sweet pickles but the main difference is thst a media noche uses sweet egg bread! It is my new favorite kind of sandwich and I I that it’s name media noche is Spanish for Midnight because this sandwich is a popular dish served in night clubs after midnight!
