The Ultimate Palm Springs Food and Drink Bucket List!

I just got back from the best vacation in Palm Springs and as I was planning my trip I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are a ton of Michelin star restaurants there! After visiting for a few days and trying so many different kinds of cuisine, I can guarantee that no matter what you like to eat or drink, you’ll find a great spot in Palm Springs. I highly recommend that you make reservations ahead of time if you don’t want to wait for a table.

Check out my favorite food and drink recommendations in Palm Springs and let me know if I need to add others!

Birba

Birba is a Michelin star restaurant with the most delicious pizza and pasta I’ve had in a while! It’s a very romantic restaurant which would be perfect for date night. We did see quite a few bachelorette parties here as well.

Their pizza is so tasty and they have some fun flavor combinations like prosciutto and hot honey.

Their pasta is hand made and you can definitely taste the authenticity! I loved the spicy pennette a la vodka.

Blue Coyote Cafe

Blue Coyote Cafe was originally not on our list but after hearing from servers and locals, we decided to add it. Here, you can get a pitcher of margaritas which is great if you’re trying to party! You also get served chips and salsa and if you like super spicy salsa I recommend you ask them for a side of spicy salsa but be warned, it’s really spicy!

Their mahi mahi tacos are world famous and they were so good!

The star of their menu in my opinion is the molcajete! It was SO GOOD and so filling. It comes with rice, beans, tortilla and inside of the molcajete you get shrimp, steak and shrimp.

Boozehounds

If you’re a fan of dogs and endless aperol spritz then I highly recommend you check out Boozehounds! It’s a dog friendly space with so many dogs!

We tried the spam bibimbap breakfast bowl and it was so flavorful and light at the same time.

If you want something a lot less healthy then I recommend the nashville karaage chicken sandwich! It was phenomenal!

Cafe La Jefa

If you’re craving coffee in a super cute and trendy space then I recommend Cafe La Jefa! The coffee is tasty and there’s a ton of shopping to do in this space as well.

Johnny Costa’s Ristorante

The best lasagana I’ve ever had (in the USA) can be found at Johnny Costa’s Ristorante in Palm Springs. The lasagna (and the free bread) was phenomenal. There was so much flavor, it was so filling, and it was just so good! It was so good, I wanted to go back the next day but they were closed.

They also have great customer service. I highly recommend!

Koffi

If you want delicious coffee, then I highly recommend you check out Koffi. I loved the cinnamon and vanilla cold brew fusion! Their patio is also excellent.

Lappert’s

If you want some delicious and unique ice cream, definitely check out Lappert’s in Palm Springs. They have so many flavor combinations and are known for their date milkshake. I loved this flavor that was chocolate, marshmallows and chocolate chips!

Las Palmas Brewing

If you love beer, then you definitely need to stop by Las Palmas brewery! They have an outdoor area with a pizza station if you get hungry. I loved the table petite saison, fifty four french saison, and the black sands IPA!

Peninsula Pastries

Peninsula Pastries is a little bit removed from the main downtown Palm Springs area but I definitely recommend you check them out. They import French flour and butter to make the most delicious butterscotch pecan twists and baguettes!

La Quinta Brewery Co.

Another brewery that I highly recommend is La Quinta Brewing Co.! They have a cool spot in downtown Palm Springs where you can drink beer and play games. I loved the red amber the best but all of their beer is very good!

Tac/Quila

Tac/Quila is another Michelin star restaurant and the award is well deserved! I loved their taco chips with fried tacos with refried beans. I almost ordered another plate!

You can also get a flight of margaritas and my favorite flavor was a tie between the cucumber and hibiscus margarita!
