9 Photos To Inspire You To Hike The Victory Steps in Buckeye!

I’m STILL working on the Ultimate Arizona Bucket List, there is just so much to do here in Arizona…but you already know that I will be including plenty of hiking!

If you are looking for a sweet hike in the West Valley then look no further than the Victory Steps! The steps are 0.2 miles long but don’t be fooled by the short length, it’s a high intensity workout! It’s a short hike with 340 steps but there are plenty of other trails nearby that can lengthen your hike.

Shoutout to my architecture friend Jose who worked on creating this trail! He gave me the inside scoop and provided the following fun fact: The steps were built by hand… no heavy machinery was used. All the wood used to build the 340 steps were carried by hand.

I hope this list inspires you to check out a new mountain in your city!
