We recently posted 10 Items You Should Absolutely Have On Your Bucket List and one of those items was to visit a new state. I highly recommend New York to be high on your list of states to visit, simply because there is SO MUCH to do. Today we are focusing on Central Park, a National Historic Landmark since 1962 that gets over 25 million visitors every year.

When people see me juggling the different activities in my life (work, travel, social life, gym, blog, non-profit, etc.) they tend to freak out a little. I, however, remain calm because I have a secret weapon: yoga. I love yoga because it’s the time where I slow down my life a little. It’s my favorite kind of exercise because it’s good for both the mind and the body. I have tried regular yoga, piyo (pilates-yoga), but one type of yoga I had yet to try was Bikram Yoga.

I have never attended NILA, but I have been a proud member of SHPE for seven years and one of the biggest lessons gained from being a member of this wonderful organization, is the importance of leadership and serving others.

I just recently got back from my 4th trip to New Mexico and every time I go, the thing I am most excited about is the food. Don’t get me wrong, New Mexico has beautiful state parks, amazing tourist destinations, and a ton of culture…but their food is out of this world. Particularly because of the fact that they love their green chile. I wasn’t a huge fan of green chile until I went to New Mexico for the first time a few years ago, but now I am obsessed. Last week, we talked about the 10 Items You Should Absolutely Have On Your Bucket List and I promised that after that post, I would share a step by step guide on crafting the perfect bucket list. This post was inspired by a couple of friends/readers who reached out and asked for help in crafting their own bucket lists.
