Where To Stay
Hotel Maya
The best hotel I’ve stayed at in Long Beach was definitely the Hotel Maya. I was there for a conference and Hotel Maya is one of the nicest (and most culturally beautiful) hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. You also get an amazing view of the city across the water.
Long Beach is the home for the #WeAllGrow Latina Summit which is one of the best blogger conferences I’ve ever been to! Check out my experience here.
What To Eat
The Tantalum
Excuse me while I go take a 10 hour nap after the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had in my life. It was SO RICH and creamy and heaven in my mouth. Chocolate cake with strawberries, chocolate and cream. I loved The Tantalum in Long Beach!
What to See and Do
Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA)
MoLAA is the only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American art. It was a really cool museum and I highly recommend it if you are in the Long Beach area.
Harbor Breeze Scenic Skyline Cruise
I loved cruising along the Long Beach coast line and taking in the beautiful views!
The cruise was SO. MUCH. FUN. We did a little whale watching, learned about the oil industry, and got to just enjoy the beautiful windy weather!
Beaches
You can’t go to Long Beach and not enjoy one of the many beaches! I also recommend making smores on the beach!
Aquarium of the Pacific
This aquarium was added to my bucket list a few years ago (the last time I visited Long Beach) because a couple of friends told me that it is worth a trip, and yes it definitely was. It was super cool. First of all, it is HUGE. And there are a ton of exhibits! We also had a delicious (and very pretty) lunch here.
I also crossed off another bucket list item and TOUCHED A SHARK!!! It was so slimy!
Historic Queen Mary Ship
You also definitely need to check out the historic and majestic Queen Mary ship!
The ship was super cool and full of history.
At one point one of the fastest and multi talented ships in the world. Super cool to step into history.
