I’ve had several people reach out and ask for restaurant recommendations in Los Angeles recently so I figured I should share this information. Check out my favorite restaurants you need to try the next time you are in Los Angeles. Enjoy and let me know if I need to add any other spots to this list!
FIXINS SOUL KITCHEN
If you’re craving chicken and waffles then I highly recommend Fixins Soul Kitchen near the Los Angeles Convention Center! So good!
VALERIE CONFECTIONS AT GRAND CENTRAL MARKET
Valerie’s Confections is located inside the Grand Central Market in LA. It’s a super cool place filled with tons of very diverse restaurants. I had the bahn mi breakfast sandwich and it was DELICIOUS.
PINK’S HOT DOGS
Pink’s Hot Dogs are so delicious. There’s usually a huge line but I got very lucky and didn’t have to wait very long. It was also super cool to eat at this historic road side spot!
POLLO INKA
If you like Peruvian food, you need to check out Pollo Inka in Los Angeles! Their lomo saltado is perfection! Who doesn’t love steak, french fries, peppers and rice?
ROSCOE’S CHICKEN AND WAFFLES
A few of you recommended Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in California and omg y’all. It was DELICIOUS. I had the Obama plate and added some hot sauce (definitely necessary) and it was so good, can you all believe that I had dinner here twice lol. Seriously, add this spot to your food bucket list.
SANAMLUANG THAI CUISINE
Sanamluang Thai Cuisine has two locations: Claremont and Los Angeles. They serve classic dishes from Thailand and everything is delicious! I had the cashew nut chicken which comes with stir fried chicken with onion, dried chili, bell pepper, cashew nuts and carrots! I added a side of white rice because I love rice and It was SO TASTY. I kept eating even when I was full and I’m trying really hard to stop doing this.
THE NICKEL DINER
Nickel Diner is exactly what it sounds like. A great spot for diner food including sandwiches, frieds, and a delicious chocolate milkshake!
