Have you heard of National Prosecco Week? If not, save the date for June 24-30 to celebrate National Prosecco Week, an official national celebration of the most popular sparkling wine, Prosecco DOC! A few months ago, I was invited to one of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix, Tratto to learn more about Prosecco and enjoy some delicious food by the incredible Chef Bianco! Check out everything I learned and let me know if you’re inspired to join me in this celebration!
National Prosecco Week is a nationwide campaign from June 24-30, 2024 that is supported by the Prosecco DOC Consortium with publicity, press and trade activations, consumer events, influencer marketing, and advertising.
Every year, National Prosecco Week reaches 1,000+ e-commerce, restaurants, and brick-and-mortar stores across the US! I was one of the lucky few to have this experience at Tratto in Phoenix.
We learned about the history of Prosecco, did some tastings, and enjoyed delicious food! Phoenix is a spot on this tour and I’m so glad because I love Prosecco! Did you know that 565 million bottles of Prosecco DOC were consumed in 2023? Prosecco has overtaken champagne as the #1 selling bubbly beverage.
We had Mark Guillaudeu, Master Sommelier guide us through 6 different Prosecco DOC wines and learned more about the foundations of the Consortium, the production of Prosecco DOC and the upcoming 7th edition of National Prosecco Week!
All of the Prosecco we tried was so good!
You can’t have Prosecco without enjoying delicious Italian food like focaccia, charcuterie and salad!
A huge thank you to Colangelo & Partners Public Relations for inviting me to this exclusive tasting and educational seminar on Prosecco DOC. To learn more about National Prosecco Week, check out their official website!
Thank you all for reading, and stay enthusiastic!
