If you are looking for a beautiful yet extremely challenging hike in Saint Lucia, then I highly recommend Gros Piton! Gros Piton is a volcanic mountain and you can do this 3.2 mile hike but only with a guide so make sure you book your reservation before going. It takes most people between 3-6 hours one way because it gets pretty steep. After completing the hike and witnessing the most beautiful views, I can absolutely assure you that this hike belongs on your Saint Lucia bucket list!

The hike was rough for me because it got very hot and sunny but I persevered thanks to some gummy bears from our guide. Check out my favorite photos from the hike!

Thunderbird Mountain is a fantastic place for beginner hikers because you get a cool view and it’s not hard or boring. Plus the American flag at the end just looks so majestic.

If you’ve never been to an all inclusive resort, I highly recommend Anse Chastanet as it has literally everything you need…from incredible views to the most delicious food and amazing beaches within walking, boat or shuttle distance!

When staying at Anse Chastanet Resort in Saint Lucia, you will have direct access to two soft beaches considered to be two of Saint Lucia’s finest beaches: The Anse Chastanet beach and the Anse Mamin beach.

The first beach you will see will be Anse Chastanet Beach as it is right near the resort; check out 7 of my favorite photos here. The second beach will be Anse Mamin as it is about a five minute walk from the resort but the walk is beautiful!

Apache Wash Trail in the Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve is one of my favorite trails in North Phoenix. It’s not super easy, but not super difficult either and you get beautiful views. It’s also far enough away (without it being ridiculously far away) that you feel very in tune with nature.
