I loved all of the Christmas Market in Belgium! One of my fave parts of Christmas Markets was that there was delicious hot wine EVERYWHERE. And it came in these super cute souvenir mugs!

California

BARRELHOUSE BREWING COMPANY

Visalia, California has Barrelhouse Brewing Co and it was a cool spot to hit up after my friend’s wedding! They had live music, good beer and friendly patrons!

BRAUEREI FRUH AM DOM

I loved traveling in Germany where I had several of these tiny glasses of Früh Kölsch, a Kölsch style beer brewed by Brauerei Früh am Dom in Köln, Germany. The beer was super refreshing and super cheap.

Hawaii

KONA BREWING COMPANY

We did a Kona Brewing Co. tour which involved walking around the facility, learning their process, and sampling several beers. All the samples were so good that it’s honestly really difficult to select a favorite.

Their beer is SOOO good and they also serve food at their restaurant and use the grain from the beer making in the pizzas!

Ireland

GUINNESSS STOREHOUSE

Guinness is one of my fave beers and there’s something about drinking it in Ireland 😎 To this day, it is still one of my fave tours. Check out my full review here.

I definitely tried other Irish beer while in Ireland:

O’Hara’s Irish Pale Ale

13872835_1262057603806336_9093371004748502703_n

I’ll admit that I ordered this beer because I’m an IPA lover. And I was definitely expecting it to taste like a typical IPA and it…didn’t. It tasted hoppy…but it didn’t have your typical strong IPA flavor. I really liked it though, and I would totally recommend it for someone who wants to like IPA, but can’t really handle the super strong flavor of an IPA.

Franciscan Well Rebel Red Irish Red Ale

The reason I tried this beer was because we had just taken a Jameson Whiskey Distillery tour and I couldn’t leave without trying the infamous ‘beer and whiskey shot’ combination. The beer was REALLY good! Similar to Angry Orchard but a thousand times better. The flavor was a lot more ‘crisp’ and I loved the combination of the beer with the whiskey shot.

Milwaukee

ENLIGHTENED BREWING COMPANY

I’ve been in Milwaukee less than 24 hours and I can already begin to understand why beer is such a huge part of the Milwaukee experience. I went on a craft brewery and cocktail tour and one my fave beers today was the Ardennite Belgian Ale (7.0% ABV) shown here.

LAKEWOOD BREWING COMPANY

Oh you know, just a typical day in Milwaukee at a brewery hanging with the 3 stooges. I had such a blast at Lakefront Brewery this morning learning about (and drinking) all of their super delicious beer! One of their owners was an engineer before becoming a brew master. My favorite was the East Side Dark Lager (5.6% alc/volume). Fun fact: Lakefront Brewery was the first place to come up with a gluten free beer.

URBAN HARVEST BREWING COMPANY

I loved all of the amazing beer including these 4 different beers from Urban Harvest Brewing Company, another brewery founded by an engineer. The four beers here are the Black Puppy Pale Ale (5.2% ABV), Ach Ya Der Hey-Fe Weizen (6.3% ABV), Old Town Amber (7.0% ABV), and Cork Screw IPA (6.0% ABV). My favorite was the Black Puppy Pale Ale because of the adorable name and the well balanced finish

Minnesota

LIFT BRIDGE BREWING

While at the Minnesota State Fair, I made my way over to the beer area and asked for their most popular beer: Mini Donut Beer from Lift Bridge Brewery. The Mini Donut Beer is only available at the Minnesota State Fair and is refreshing, especially with the cinnamon sugar rim on the cup!

Missouri

BOULEVARD BREWING COMPANY

I landed in Kansas City, Missouri and immediately went to Boulevard Brewing Company to go on one of the best brewery tours of my life. The tour guide was hilarious, informative and inspiring. Honestly, at this point, after all the brewery tours I’ve been on…I should just start doing some home brewing. I had the Tank 7, a high alcohol content beer that tastes like a lighter beer and their Oktoberfest beer, so good!

MARBLE BREWERY

One of my fave items on my bucket list is to check out a brewery in every state  I tried Marble Brewery in Albuquerque and they had great beer and a great atmosphere! My cousins and I drank the Passionate Gose Beer (hint of passion fruit and a strong aroma of guava).

North Carolina

BREWERS AT 4001 YANCEY

If you’re looking for a cool and unique spot, check out Brewers at 4001 Yancey in Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s huge and open and they have so many different kinds of beer! It’s also very close to other breweries and beer gardens so you can make a whole day out of drinking.

BREWERY BHAVANA

Brewery Bhavana in Raleigh is my dream come true. It is a hub for craft beer, dim sum, books & flowers! Seriously, you can have a bite to eat, order a beer AND then shop for a book!!

RALEIGH BEER GARDEN

I love that there are so many breweries here and today I stopped by Raleigh Beer Garden and I am in paradise! So many different kinds of beers to choose from (over 350+ on tap!!), so many levels to grab a beer, so many places to enjoy your beer, plus delicious food and lawn games.
