Where To Stay

We stayed at Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort which I recommend as it was close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Food and Drink

There are so many delicious restaurants, my favorite was Smiley’s Local Grinds.

Check out the Ultimate Kauai Food and Drink Bucket List to find more inspiration because Kauai is full of amazing restaurants!

Waimea Canyon

Waimea Canyon is known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific and I can definitely see why! You can see incredible views an definitely reminds me of home! It’s really fun to drive up there and enjoy the views without having to hike.

Kalalau Trail

Kalalau Trail was an extremely difficult hike but so worth it! It is 11 miles and gives you incredible and secluded views!

Poipu Beach

Kauai is pretty small so if you have a car and a few days, you can explore the entire island!

If you find yourself at the Southern end, I highly recommend you check out Poipu Beach! It’s in a super nice area, the beach is beautiful and there’s a ton to do around there! There’s also restaurants within walking distance and it wasn’t a busy beach at all.

Secret Falls

I loved discovering Uluwehi Falls aka Secret Falls after kayaking and hiking! We did a kayaking/hiking tour with Ali’i Kayaks and we highly recommend them.

Hanalei Beach
