I knew that Maui would have beautiful beaches but I was not aware of how many delicious restaurants can be found here!
Check out eight spots that you absolutely need to try the next time you are in Maui.
Tin Roof Maui
Tin Roof Maui is a super casual spot with no seating area but the food is delicious. We landed in Maui, ordered food and ate in the car. We tried the Mochiko chicken and it was so good! It is double fried chicken thighs marinated overnight in ginger sake shoyu, covered in a sweet rice batter, topped with housemade su-miso gochujang aioli, mochi crunch dime bag mix, served with cabbage banchan and rice.
Ulu Kitchen by Merriman
The blueberry and lilikoi pancakes at Ulu Kitchen were so good we ate there twice in our trip!
Maui Brewing Company
Maui Brewing Company had a huge selection of beer and your typical bar food.
It’s also really close to the beach so we got some fish tacos and salad to go – it hit the spot!
Kihei Caffe
Kihei Caffe was another great breakfast spot! I loved their breakfast! Their potatoes are a fun shape and are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also loved the Portuguese sausage and the southern biscuit!
Mama’s Fish House
Mama’s Fish House is definitely a special occasion sort of place. It’s a beautiful restaurant and everything was incredible!
Monkey Pod
I loved the shrimp with cornbread appetizer that comes in a small cast iron.
Their fish and chips was really good!
The Hawaiian jerk chicken was tasty.
We recommend you get dessert too!
Joey’s Kitchen
The pork adobo fried rice was excellent!
Papi’s Ohana
You have to get the cinnamon rolls from Papi’s Ohana. They are so good and huge! There may be a line so heads up.
