The Ultimate New York Bucket List!

If you’re a fan of incredible and diverse food, iconic landmarks and a bustling city, look no further than New York City! NYC is the ultimate girls trip destination as well, as there is so much beautiful art to see, the best pizza, and the best rooftop bars/clubs to dance the night away!

Check out the Ultimate New York Bucket List with everything you need to know to plan the most epic trip. Enjoy!

Food and Drink

All of the food I ate in NYC was delicious and it’s so hard to pick a favorite. I recommend them all! Check out the Ultimate New York Food Bucket List to find more inspiration because New York is full of amazing restaurants!

What to See and Do

Brooklyn Bridge

I loved walking the Brooklyn Bridge. You get incredible views and it’s such an iconic experience. Check out more photos here.

Check Out Times Square

You can’t go to NYC and not check out Times Square. It is simply iconic. I will say that once or twice is good enough as it gets full of tourists.

This photo was taken after a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night when we stayed right in Times Square – do not recommend lol.

Central Park

So I checked out Central Park and it’s even more beautiful in person. Not only is the nature so majestic on its own, there is art all over the place!

You can walk or run to admire the views! Central Park is a National Historic Landmark that gets over 25 million visitors every year. Check out more photos here.

The Met

If you’ve seen any movie based in New York, you’ll recognize these iconic steps in front of The Met!

Check out Broadway

A trip to NYC is not complete without a Broadway show! I recommend Wicked, Chicago, School of Rock, Aladdin and The Book of Mormon!

The Vessel Building

You’ve seen this iconic building all over Instagram!

Explore the art

I love New York and all that it had to offer including really colorful art EVERYWHERE! New York was seriously everything I imagined it was going to be and everyone should visit at least once.

Little Italy

Another reason why I love to travel is because sometimes you can get a little taste of a new culture that really opens your eyes…like the time I went to Little Italy in NYC. The lights are bright, the food is delicious, and you feel like you are on the other side of the world. At the moment, I had no plans to visit Italy but after getting a tiny taste, I knew an Italy trip was necessary.

Walk Around and Explore

My fave part of NYC is just walking around pretending I live a glamorous life there, you’ll never know what you’ll run into!

Nightlife

There are so many clubs, bars, and places to enjoy the nightlife in NYC. I loved Lavo (good music).

Empire Stare Building

Iconic!

NYC Public Library

I just thought it was a beautiful building!

National September 11 Memorial & Museum

The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is a memorial and museum that are part of the World Trade Center complex, in New York City, created for remembering the September 11, 2001. It is a very somber area.

Bonus: Upstate New York

Corning Museum of Glass

Seneca Lake Wine Trail

The last wine tour I participated in was the Seneca Lake Wine Trail in upstate NY! This trail has 30+ wineries where you can sample different kinds of wines and it’s amazing! Every winery owner is so nice too, I got a free hat just for complimenting the owner’s hat at one of the wineries!

Wine Glass Marathon in Corning

I still can’t believe I actually ran a full marathon. As I was running, I took a selfie at every mile because I knew I wanted to blog about my experience (and share 26 leassons learned) with the 26 selfies. One big lesson learned is that it is so important to know what the course will look like, because my friends, it is SO MUCH EASIER to run 26.2 miles when you have incredible views. Check out more about my maratthon expierience here.
