If you like peaches even a little bit, you need to add the Peach Festival at Schnepf Farms to your bucket list!

Last Sunday my little sister and I crossed off bucket list item #310: Peach Festival at Schnepf Farms! Unfortunately, the Peach Festival has ended but there will be other events at this farm. Make sure you keep an eye out for next May so that you can check out the Peach Festival!

It was such a blast, especially because my little sister joined me. When we arrived at the farm, I was a little shocked at how big the actual farm is. It seriously looked like it went on for miles (which it probably does). And because the farm is so big, the festival didn’t seem super crowded which is nice for those people who don’t like crowds.

Hi friends! After years and years of wanting to stop wearing glasses and contacts, I finally got LASIK and it FEELS AMAZING!

There are two main reasons why I decided to finally get LASIK. The first reason was that I hate wearing glasses (they’re hard to hike/work out in and are always sliding down my nose) and contacts (my eyes get really dry and irritated). The second reason was that during my Europe trip I almost lost my glasses looking over the Liffey River in Ireland and that was terrifying. I started to think about what would happen if I lost my glasses (and my sight essentially) in another country and that was the last straw.

This past weekend, I ran in the Gildan Esprit de She 5K race in Tempe and it was an absolute blast. I knew it would be a fun experience because I ran it last year but oh my goodness, they upped their game this year.

This Mother’s Day is a very special one for my family. Last year, we celebrated Mother’s Day in the hospital because my mom had just undergone a heart transplant operation a few days before.

This year, we are celebrating Mother’s Day outside of the hospital and we are going to do it enthusiastically because that is, after all, the theme of this blog and the theme of my life.

Here are a couple of bucket list items that my mom and I have crossed off together and you are definitely encouraged to take some inspiration and celebrate in a similar manner with the mothers in your life this year! 🙂

Last Saturday, I was able to cross off bucket list item #20 (once again) when I ran another 5K! This year is definitely the year of running for me. Check out the video below of the Phoenix Bubble Run 5K to really get a sense of what the run was like (trust me, I got some pretty cool shots running through the bubbles). It’s only 2 minutes long, which I know you have time for! 🙂

I ran the Phoenix Bubble Run 5K with my 3 adult cousins, 3 baby cousins, and 1 friend and it was AN ABSOLUTE BLAST. I knew it would be interesting, but I had no idea how much I would laugh, cheer, and smile.

This weekend, I will be crossing off bucket list item #21: run a 10K and I am SO EXCITED. Not only am I excited because it’s my first 10K but also because it is the Run the Runway 10K! And I’ll be running at an airport. SURROUNDED BY PLANES. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m an airplane enthusiast and that I like to share fun airplane facts (lol) so this is the perfect 10K for me. Plus, think of all the great photo opportunities! Since I’m just really excited and amped up, I want to share the energy and the enthusiasm so below are 5 reasons to add a race to your bucket list!

This past week was a very exciting week for me, for my blog/Facebook page, and for all of you (my friends and readers)! First, I crossed off bucket list item #320: Check out Monster Bubbles at Paradise Valley mall, which was super exciting, random, and epic! It was an exciting week for my blog/Facebook page because we had our first giveaway! And it was an exciting week for you (my friends and readers) because one of you won the giveaway and joined me in crossing off a bucket list item!

Let’s jump right in! A few of you may ask ‘what is a Monster Bubble and why on Earth would you want to do that?’. Let me explain. A Monster bubble is a 9 foot tall gerbil ball (looks like a sphere) where people go in (like a hamster/gerbil) and run around and bounce all around an enclosed space. That might sound a little weird, but oh my gosh it was such a blast.

Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending my very first #WeAllGrow Blogger Conference in Long Beach, CA. I was sponsored to attend because I got hand-selected by Latina Bloggers Connect and Collectivo. I was selected, along with a couple other Phoenix bloggers to get mentored by the wonderful Crafty Chica and she has been so amazing. I’ll be talking about that awesome program later in a different post. For now let’s focus on the conference.

The conference was so much fun starting from the very beginning when the chicas from my blogger group and I met up to drive to California in our sweet new rides (full post here).
