FRANK PEPE’S PIZZERIA
Happy #FoodieFriday friends, Connecticut edition! A couple of years ago, I read an article talking about the best pizza in the US and Connecticut was on that list so I’ve been trying to make my way here for so long! The white pizza is the most popular but I decided to try the famous tomato pie from Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napoletana and it was AMAZING! The thin crust was flaky with just the right amount of crunch, the tomato sauce was so flavorful and the cheese was my favorite part! I ate 3/4 of it for dinner and then ate the rest this morning and even the leftovers were amazing!
CONNECTICUT STATE CAPITOL
I love to visit the state’s capitol whenever I visit a new state. I loved the gold on top of the Connecticut State Capitol building!
MARK TWAIN HOUSE AND MUSEUM
No filter needed at all for this beautiful home. You all know who Mark Twain is, author of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer…but did you know he called Hartford home? And that he married his wife because she was intelligent and she edited his letters to publishers? And that he supported women’s right to vote?
