So You Want To Start A Bucket List?

A few weeks ago, one of my best friends reached out to me and asked me for the best way to start living the enthusiastic bucket list life that I am always promoting. I broke it down step by step for her and sent her links to the posts she should read to get started. And since we are all about the sharing of knowledge here on Enthusiastic About Life, I’ve decided to share the info with all of you. I hope this helps you all, and like I told her, please reach out if you have any questions!

Crossing Off Bikram Yoga From My Bucket List At The Foundry!

This post is sponsored by The Foundry. As always, all opinions are my own.

When people see me juggling the different activities in my life (work, travel, social life, gym, blog, non-profit, etc.) they tend to freak out a little. I, however, remain calm because I have a secret weapon: yoga. I love yoga because it’s the time where I slow down my life a little. It’s my favorite kind of exercise because it’s good for both the mind and the body. I have tried regular yoga, piyo (pilates-yoga), but one type of yoga I had yet to try was Bikram Yoga.

I know that many people are curious but also nervous about trying Bikram Yoga, so as your faithful Queen of YOLO (You Only Live Once) and enthusiastic bucket list friend, I tried it and I’m here to tell you all about my experience at The Foundry.

The Ultimate New Mexico Food and Drink Bucket List!

I just recently got back from my 4th trip to New Mexico and every time I go, the thing I am most excited about is the food. Don’t get me wrong, New Mexico has beautiful state parks, amazing tourist destinations, and a ton of culture…but their food is out of this world. Particularly because of the fact that they love their green chile. I wasn’t a huge fan of green chile until I went to New Mexico for the first time a few years ago, but now I am obsessed. If you’re like me, you would think that they would only add green chile to a couple of things but I am here to educate you! Check out all of my food and drink recommendations!

Neida Sandoval, The Toyota Ambassador That Wants To Hike Machu Picchu!

This post is sponsored by Toyota Latino. As always, all opinions are my own.

I was at #NCLR17 (National Council of La Raza Annual Conference which has recently branded to UNIDOS US) this past weekend and I had such a great time seeing all that was happening and getting inspired by everyone that I met. One of the most impactful people there was Neida Sandoval, a 5 Time National Emmy Awarded journalist who is the current Celebrity Ambassador of the national “Juntos Somos Imparables” (Together We Are Unstoppable) campaign for Toyota.

How To Craft The Perfect Bucket List!

Last week, we talked about the 10 Items You Should Absolutely Have On Your Bucket List and I promised that after that post, I would share a step by step guide on crafting the perfect bucket list. This post was inspired by a couple of friends/readers who reached out and asked for help in crafting their own bucket lists. The first person who asked me how to craft a bucket list was my friend Juan, who read my 7 Reasons To Have a Bucket List post and got the motivation to craft his own bucket list.

I hope this helps you all, please let me know if you have any questions. I’m here to help!

10 Items You Should Absolutely Have On Your Bucket List!

Several people have recently reached out to me and asked ‘What’s the best way to start a bucket list?’ so I figured I would address that question here! And if you’re not one of these people, I encourage you to read my 7 Reasons To Have a Bucket List post. The short and sweet answer to the how to start a bucket list question is, ‘just write it down’ and what I mean by that is just get a piece of paper, or open a word document in google drive (so that you can easily access it anywhere) and start writing down items you’ve always wanted to do. I know this isn’t the best answer, which is why I’m working on a better (much longer) answer to be posted next week, so stay tuned!

For now, I want to share 10 items that you absolutely need to add to your bucket list. The reason I’m posting this before the actual ‘how to write a bucket list’ post is because I want to give you all some examples of items to add. So that when you finally get around to writing that perfect bucket list, you have a baseline/example to follow. So for now, let’s jump right into those items! Please comment down below if I’m missing any big ones 🙂
