One of my favorite things to do in new cities when I travel is to enjoy the local art scene. I’m all about museums and learning more about art history, but what really blows me away is when the art is life sized! While exploring Minnesota, I discovered the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and fell in love! Take a look at a few of my favorite photos of these amazing sculptures and I hope you are inspired to visit. There must be something about Minnesota and amusement parks because there are amusement parks literally EVERYWHERE. They have Valleyfair which is super famous, they have Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America and they even have a mini amusement park called Como Town at the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory! As if the zoo wasn’t already an enjoyable experience, they seem to be catering to the adrenaline junkie in all of us!
Last week I posted a photo of some beautiful street art from NYC on my instagram, and a friend of mine mentioned that she lived in Brooklyn for 10 years. My response to her was ‘I LOVE Brooklyn!’ because I do, I really do. On my last trip to NYC, one of my fave things I did was to visit the beyond beautiful Brooklyn Bridge (y’all like that alliteration?) so I figured why not post a couple of photos to showcase just how breathtaking the Brooklyn Bridge is?
Growing up I had definitely heard of the Mall of America but I never realized that there is an actual amusement park inside of it! I just thought it was the largest mall in America with a million stores. I was already overwhelmed by the sheer number of stores but to see Nickelodeon Universe, I was blown away. I’m a huge adrenaline junkie, and was super excited to get the opportunity to check out the infamous park within the even more famous Mall.

I was told that when visiting Minnesota, I absolutely had to add Bent Brewstillery to my bucket list. I’ll have you know that it was one of the best items I’ve added not only because it’s a really unique place but because they ALSO HAVE AN OFFICIAL BREWERY DOG NAMED BB.
My friends, I AM SO EXCITED because in just a few days I will be crossing off a huge bucket list item! It’s one of the 12 bucket list items that I set out to cross off in 2017: HIKE HAVASUPAI FALLS. A few weeks ago, I visited Roseville, Minnesota and crossed off a ton of items from my bucket list. Whenever I travel to a new place, I like to choose the best hotel that will work for my enthusiastic bucket list life. I’ve been traveling for several years and on my travels I’ve learned four important things to consider before booking: price, location, amenities, and staff. When visiting Minnesota, I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Roseville which is a newer hotel in the area and I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend New York to be high on your list of states to visit, simply because there is SO MUCH to do. Today we are focusing on Central Park, a National Historic Landmark since 1962 that gets over 25 million visitors every year.
