I was super excited to visit Sorrento because everything I read online told me that it was a hidden gem and I found that to be extremely true! Sorrento is beautiful, a lot less crowded than Positano, more affordable, and the food is incredible! We stayed at Hotel Bellevue Syrene, a 5 star hotel with its own beach club that I 1000% recommend.

Beach clubs are venues where you can show up with a bathing suit because most beach clubs provide chairs with umbrellas, towels, and showers. Most also have a restaurant where you can order food and drinks and eat it at the chairs or at the restaurant. It’s truly the best way to enjoy a day at the beach!
The best part about the beach club at the Hotel Bellevue Syrene is that you do not need to make a reservation as the beach club is only for hotel guests. There were plenty of spots when we stayed there in July which is considered the high season.
I loved the Bellevue Syrene Beach Club because it’s not crowded and the water is so beautiful. The only thing to note is that there is no sand here. It is merely an area with sun beds and a swimming area.
The red umbrellas are reserved for hotel guests.
Look at the color of the water! We also got to see some boats.
