For my bachelorette, I decided I wanted to visit three countries in the Caribbean and Saint Barthélemy (St. Barts) was one of those countries! All I had heard about Saint Barthélemy was that it was this beautiful, luxurious place where celebrities liked to vacation.
After researching, I learned that that’s exactly what it is! It’s a beautiful country in the Caribbean and is known for luxury travel and its beaches, restaurants and (luxury) shops. in the St. Barts, officially Saint Barthélemy, is a small island in the Caribbean Sea. It’s a popular destination for luxury travel and is known for its beaches, restaurants, and shops.
There are two main ways to visit: fly into St. Martin and take a ferry there (like I did) or fly into St. Martin and take a smaller plane in (the more expensive option).
I liked taking the ferry in because you get really great views of the ocean, the country and there’s so many yachts! Check out a few of my favorite photos from Saint Barthélemy and let me know if you’re inspired to visit!
Traveling by ferry…
If you are prone to seasickness, I recommend sitting outside as that will be a little more bearable.
After arriving…
It’s fun to walk around and sight see, shop, and go to beaches.
What to eat…
There’s an amazing ice cream shop right across the street from where the ferry drops you off!
We checked out Shellona Beach Club and their food was so good!
I loved this drink that had carrot, ginger, and a few other delicious ingredients. It was meant to give you energy.
The lobster pasta was delicious!
I tried the red snaper façon cooked spetses style and served with eggplant. It was delicious!
The Ceasar salad and french fries were also so good!
All of their cocktails were excellent!
At Shell Beach, you can either book a day bed, chairs, or just lay on the beach! Note that you cannot book a day bed or chairs/umbrellas until 12pm as they are reserved for their hotel guests.
We booked a day bed at Shellona Beach Club and it was nice to be in the shade, be able to order food and drinks and then jump into the ocean!
