I cannot believe that 2023 is almost over, it seriously just flew by. In 2017, I started a tradition of rounding up my favorite photos from each year however we had a slight hiatus in 2020 and 2021 but we came back in 2022!
Check out my favorite travel photos from 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022.
This year, I was able to cross off several new cities in Italy, see more of the beautiful United States and make several trips to the motherland.
Every year, I take some time to reflect on how that year went; and this year I will continue the tradition of rounding up one photo per trip to hopefully inspire you to travel a little more! Enjoy!
Here at Enthusiastic About Life, we are huge fans of all sorts of different food. As I travel the United States, I love seeing how different states do pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). Check out all of the pan dulce I’ve eaten throughout the United States and let me know which spot sounds the best!
Tucson is a hiker’s paradise, I’ve said it time and time again. Whenever someone asks me what there is to do in Tucson I always say the same three things: eating, hiking, and exploring the beautiful University of Arizona campus! One of my favorite surprising areas to hike is behind Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
Matt and I spent this last weekend in a new part of Tucson that I had never experienced before and it was such a beautiful area! Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is my new favorite hotel in Tucson as it has some amazing walking and hiking trails right behind it.
Positano had been on my bucket list for years! I had read so much about this cliffside village on southern Italy’s Amalfi Coast and wasn’t sure if it would be as picturesque as what I saw on social media. Spoiler alert, it was!
It was so beautiful and seriously looked photoshopped but be warned, there’s a ton of stairs so make sure you’re ready for that.
Check out the Ultimate Positano Bucket List and let me know I’ve convinced you to book a trip!
If you like incredible food then I highly recommend you book a trip to Positano. There are so many amazing restaurants with a large variety of food! Check out all of my favorite restaurants in Positano listed in the order of breakfast, lunch, aperitivo, and dinner. Let me know which sounds the best!
I was super excited to visit Positano and check out a beach club because I had heard that it’s a must do experience and it definitely was!
Beach clubs are venues that sit on a beachfront location where you can reserve your spot online/via phone call and just show up with a bathing suit because most beach clubs provide chairs with umbrellas, towels, and showers. Most also have a restaurant where you can order food and drinks and eat it at the chairs or at the restaurant. It’s truly the best way to enjoy a day at the beach! Check out everything I learned from visiting Fornillo Beach Club and let me know if I’ve convinced you to book a trip.
I’m STILL working on the Ultimate Arizona Bucket List, there is just so much to do here in Arizona…but you already know that I will be including plenty of hiking!
Tumamoc Hill is one of the most popular hikes in Tucson, especially for University of Arizona students and staff! Check out two photos from my hike to inspire you to visit!
If you like beer, beautiful architecture and chocolate, then you need to take a trip to Belgium! Check out all of my recommendations for when you visit! Stay tuned as I am actively updating this blog post.
I went to Los Angeles to visit my friend Valarie to celebrate her birthday and we explored all of LA. We went clubbing, to bars, to bookstores, to restaurants, and of course we hiked! I highly recommend hiking to the top of Griffith Observatory. It was a fantastic hike (not too hard but definitely not a stroll) and the view at the top was just unbelievable. We could see the entire city and then we got to check out the Griffith Observatory which was awesome. Check out 13 photos to inspire you to visit!
