The Ultimate Pan Dulce (Mexican Sweet Bread) Bucket List!

Here at Enthusiastic About Life, we are huge fans of all sorts of different food. As I travel the United States, I love seeing how different states do pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). Check out all of the pan dulce I’ve eaten throughout the United States and let me know which spot sounds the best!

Arizona

LA ESTRELLA

If you want award winning pan dulce (sweet bread), definitely check out La Estrella in Tucson! Literally all of the pan dulce was amazing. My personal faves were the cuernitos (little horns) and the glazed donut. Highly recommend! If you don’t live in Tucson, don’t worry…they also have a location in Mesa!

LA PURISIMA

La Purisima is the most highly recommended pan dulce spots in Phoenix and for good reason. They have so many different kinds of pan dulce and all are so good! This photo is courtesy of La Purisima Bakery’s Instagram account.

MIS RAICES

Special shoutout as it’s not technically pan dulce but it looks like it! This concha muffin was amazing! Mis Raices also has excellent coffee and you can find them in Central Phoenix.

PANADERIA LA CENTRAL

If you are in the West Valley and looking for some delicious pan dulce (sweet bread), check out Panaderia La Central!

They have a huge selection of different breads along with coffee, smoothies and other meals.

TRES LECHES CAFE

Tres Leches Cafe has amazing coffee and also delicious pan dulce. They have unique flavors like Mazapan conchas which I highly recommend. They have two locations in Central Phoenix.
