The Ultimate Tucson Hiking Bucket List!

When you think of Tucson, I really hope that hiking comes immediately to mind because that is one of my favorite activities to do here. There are so many hikes to choose from depending on what difficulty level you want as well as what are you are looking to hike in. My favorite hike is definitely Seven Falls but there’s plenty of other hikes that I always love to recommend!

Feel free to comment below if I’m missing your favorite Tucson hike. Happy hiking!

Finger Rock Canyon

Finger Rock Trail is a fantastic trail in beautiful Tucson, from what I’ve heard. Unfortunately we didn’t finish this hike because my beautiful friend Tam thought she knew the trail well enough to lead us and…surprise SHE DIDN’T. We kind of just walked around and explored. It was a nice short hike but I’ve heard that if you actually complete it, it’s pretty difficult. Check out more photos here.

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

Believe it or not, this was taken mere steps outside of the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. The most beautiful of places (and situations) can be found when you leave room for them to be found. Check out more photos here.

Picacho Peak

If you’re driving from Phoenix to Tucson and feel like doing a really difficult hike then I highly recommend Picacho Peak! Picacho Peak is a workout, has amazing views and is a mountain you should definitely cross off your hiking bucket list! Check out more photos here!

Romero Pools

Tucson is definitely a hiker’s heaven with so many beautiful hikes including Romero Pools. I highly recommend if you are a hiker and you are in Tucson, to go and do this hike and cliff dive! Check out more photos here!

Seven Falls

Seven Falls is my favorite hike in Tucson because the scenery is so beautiful and it’s a great workout as well! Check out more photos here!

Tanque Verde Falls

Tanque Verde is a great workout, the views are beautiful, and it’s not overly crowded. It is 1.8 miles long and rated as moderate, so it’s a great hike to go on if you want a workout but you don’t have a lot of time. Check out more photos here!

Tumamoc Hill

If you’re looking for a short but difficult (and super steep) hike, then I highly recommend Tumamoc Hill! Check out more photos here.
