My friends, it is March…which means that there’s a pretty big college basketball tournament going on.
This year, however, my team didn’t make it past the first round of the tournament so I obviously need a huge distraction at this time…and what better way than delicious food, friends and a very addicting game to help me!

What a day. Without planning it, today I wore my Society of Women Engineers polo, I went out to lunch with a female coworker/friend, I went on group run with my #EnthusiasticAboutRunning group (comprised mainly of women), and I went on my social media accounts to see my feed filled with inspirational stories of women.
Today, this past weekend (and honestly every day of my life) has been all about women supporting women and I AM HERE FOR IT. I had the best four days at the Weallgrow Latina summit this last weekend in beautiful Long Beach, California and I can’t be the only one experiencing summit withdrawals. So much inspiration, empowerment, growth, learning opportunities, mentoring, yoga, swag, beautiful views, and support.
WeAllGrow Latina is a network of women that connects influencers/bloggers with brands but also empowers Latinas by hosting a summit every year in California.
I attended in 2016 (you can check out that post and video here!), missed last year (because I was officiating a wedding) but was thrilled to be able to return this year.

A few months ago, I visited Vancouver for the first time ever to celebrate my friend’s last few nights of being single and we had a freaking blast. I’ll be in Spain and Italy in less than two weeks which has me reminiscing on my very first trip to Europe back in 2015. A big part of that trip was admiring some of the most beautiful cathedrals I’ve ever seen in my life.
I haven’t always been Enthusiastic About Cathedrals, in fact, what started out as a cute thing with my mom…kind of just escalated. On my first Europe trip, my mom told me that she was going to really miss me so to help her, I decided to take a photo of every cathedral I encountered and send it to her. She has always loved cathedrals and I thought it would be a fun way to sort of bring her along on my trip.
I will of course continue the tradition and send her cathedral photos from Spain and Italy so I figured I would share the photos I already had with all of you! Happy new year my friends, it is officially 2018! It feels so weird to say that, but it’s here! 2017 was a great year for travel, for bucket list items, and for the blog. I think a big part of why it was such a great year was because I wrote a list of bucket list items I wanted to cross off in 2017 so I am going to do that again this year!
Just like last year, this blog post is multi-purpose, I want to share and inspire you all to set some goals for the New Year, and I also want to put this out into the Universe. I believe that once you say something out loud and/or write it down, the Universe will be on your side and help you accomplish whatever you set out to do. You can read more about that in 7 Reasons To Have A Bucket List.
But for now, let me know if you will be crossing off any similar items (maybe we can do them together)! These are in no particular order, enjoy!
If you’ve been around for a while you will know that I am a huge advocate of writing things down, in order to manifest them into reality. Because of this, on January 1st, 2017 I wrote a list of 12 bucket list items that I wanted to cross off in 2017. I managed to cross off 5 of the 12 items, hello almost 50% success!
I’ll be writing a 2018 version because choosing 12 bucket list items for the year definitely pushed me to accomplish those goals, and I encourage you to do the same! Enjoy my favorite 16 bucket list items from 2017 listed in the order that they happened!

My friends, 2017 is almost over! Can you all believe how fast this year has gone?! I feel like 2017 just started, and I think a big part of why 2017 seems to have flown by is because I’ve been fortunate to have done a lot more travel this year. This year I decided that I wanted to see more of the United States and so I did.
