The Ultimate Mother’s Day Bucket List!

My friends, Mother’s Day is in a few days (and Mother’s Day is celebrated today in Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador, hola mi gente!) and every year my siblings and I get together to try to think of the perfect gift to give to the woman who gave us life and raised us to be the best versions of ourselves. Every year, we come to the same conclusion…we would rather give our mom an experience, a memory, and time with us because that is the most valuable gift. In thinking of this, I decided to write up The Ultimate Mother’s Day Bucket List to give you all ideas of ways to spend this wonderful day. If you have any other ideas, feel free to share 😉

9 Photos To Inspire You To Visit Antelope Canyon!

antelope-canyon

This last weekend, I spent my time with hundreds of fellow travel bloggers at the Women in Travel Summit (#WITS17) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I met so many wonderful women from all over. And every woman that I met was very excited when I mentioned that I was from Arizona and why would they not be? Arizona is home to some of the most beautiful areas in the United States so I didn’t mind being an Arizona Ambassador in the slightest. If anything, I think I convinced everyone I spoke to that they needed to visit me and Arizona!

These women knew about the Grand Canyon (of course) but when I mentioned Antelope Canyon, not too many knew what I was talking about. I told them that they needed to immediately add ‘Visit Antelope Canyon’ to their bucket list and I think you need to do the same thing!

Celebrating Earth Day with Sustainability Made Simple Book Review + Giveaway!

This post is sponsored by Media Masters Publicity. As always, all opinions are my own.
If you’ve been following along for at least a week, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of hiking…so in turn I’m a huge fan of being out in nature and enjoying the beauty of our planet. Because I enjoy the beauty of our planet, I believe 100% that we need to take care of our planet, so this year for Earth Day, I am going to be celebrating by spending as much of my day outside and by sharing ways to become more sustainable with the information gained from a recently published book, Sustainability Made Simple: Small Changes for Big Impact by Rosaly Byrd and Laurèn DeMates, founders of The Sustainability Co-Op blog.

Couch to Havasupai Falls: Moderate Hikes in Phoenix!

If you are already familiar with the series ‘Couch to Havasupai Falls’, then welcome! If not, let me give you some info. A couple of weeks ago, I was talking to friends about hiking Havasupai Falls and those friends told me they were hesitant to do the 10+ mile hike because they couldn’t just go from their ‘couch to havasupai falls’. I told them I would start a series to get them ready for this arduous hike, so here we are! The series includes easy, moderate, and difficult hikes to prepare you for Havasupai Falls. If you haven’t checked out the easy hikes list, you can see it here.

But for now, let’s get into the moderate hikes! The hikes are listed in order of ease (#4 is easiest moderate, #3 is easy moderate, #2 is moderate, and #1 is the transition hike to go from moderate to difficult hikes). Enjoy!

The Ultimate Glass Blowing Experience with Circle 6 Studios!

This post is sponsored by Circle 6 Studios. As always, all opinions are my own.

I’m very excited to announce that I have partnered with Circle 6 Studios in Phoenix to cross off a big bucket list item: glass blowing! I love their mission (promote the growth of art glass and glass artists in the Phoenix area) and also love that they are participants in First Friday, an art walk through downtown Phoenix galleries, studios and art spaces held every first Friday evening of each month.

I had such a blast experiencing glass blowing and cannot wait to go back. If you’ve ever wondered what glass blowing is like, then get ready to learn everything you need to know! And at the end, you can find some sweet discounts and information on an epic First Friday event hosted by local breweries, enjoy! 😉

March Madness and Mini Corn Dogs!

This post is sponsored by Foster Farms. As always, all opinions are my own.

My friends, it is my favorite time of the year, it is officially MARCH MADNESS!

It’s been a fabulous beginning to March Madness because my team (Arizona Wildcats!) won the PAC 12 Basketball Tournament and I am hoping that they make it all the way in the NCAA Tournament. I think this is our year, but even if it’s not and my bracket gets busted…at least I will enjoy hosting game viewing parties and eating tasty snacks. I’ve partnered with Foster Farms for their Snack Time Bracket Busters (#FFBracketBusters) campaign to show you all that mini corn dogs are the easiest appetizers to have during game viewing parties!
