West Fork trail is a beautiful hike with the best destination: an incredible waterfall. This trail is 6.5 miles out and back and is rated as moderately challenging. It’s a great way to spend a morning as it is a pretty lengthy hike. Check out all of my photos to inspire you to visit!
If you’re looking for an activity that doesn’t involve (much) hiking, then check out Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park in Sedona, Arizona! It is a sacred site in a beautiful location, very peaceful, and you can meditate and renew your spirituality here. I personally love the sculptures in the area. Has anyone been here? Check out all of my photos!
If you’ve never been on a train ride before, I highly recommend Verde Canyon Railroad because the views are astounding and you are able to walk around in the fresh air with a drink in your hand. Train rides seriously provide the most epic of views and they’re made even more epic when enjoyed with the best company. Check out more photos to inspire you to add a train ride to your Clarkdale/Sedona bucket list!
I loved staying at Briar Patch Inn in Sedona and highly recommend them. I felt far away from civilization and totally immersed in nature….but still had access to a warm bed and a hot shower. Truly the best of both worlds. There was a beautiful creek just a couple steps away from our cabin. Check out more photos to inspire you to stay here!
I’m STILL working on the Ultimate Arizona Bucket List, there is just so much to do here in Arizona…but you already know that I will be including plenty of hiking!
Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa is such a great hike! This mountain is great for beginners, because the trail isn’t bad at all and the views are really pretty!

If you love train rides and beautiful views, you need to check out a Sky Railway train ride in beautiful and artsy Santa Fe, New Mexico!
Santa Fe is about an hour from Albuquerque and you can easily take a train ride from Albuquerque to Santa Fe to explore the town and then do a train ride in Santa Fe.
We drove to Santa Fe and checked out a sunset train ride. It was such a cool experience with beautiful views. I personally just love being on a train. There is a bartender on board so I enjoyed a beer, champagne, and a small charcuterie plate.

If you love plants (or even if you don’t), you need to check out Osuna Nursery in New Mexico. They have so many beautiful plants, trees, roses, everything and anything you might need that even if you’re not a plant lover, you’ll either be converted or have a good time admiring the beauty!
