3 Reasons To Go To A Mexico Soccer Game!

copa-america_blogLast year, I crossed off bucket list item #17: watch a Mexico soccer game in person when I watched Mexico play against Guatemala in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup (Copa Oro). I was really hoping to witness an epic Mexico goal that I had heard so much about, but unfortunately the game ended in a tie (0-0). This year, i came back to the Copa America Centenario (#Copa100) hoping to witness a goal. Little did I know, that I would witness THREE. If you’ve never been to a Mexico soccer game, you need to go. Honestly, you need to go to any big soccer game (it doesn’t matter if your home country is playing, I believe everyone should go at least once in their lives). Check out the top three reasons to see a Mexico soccer game in person!

Birthday Bucket List – 24 Under 24!

24_under_24_finalMy birthday is next week but I’ll be celebrating early because my mom and I share a birthday. This weekend I’ll be celebrating myself and next weekend, we will celebrate her. Yes you read that right, I was born on my mom’s birthday. I like to joke that I was a painful gift, but my mom says that I was the best birthday gift she has ever gotten. She’s so cute, I know.

When my birthday comes around, I get into a weird mood where I look back at what I’ve done in my life. I like to think that I try my best to live an enthusiastic life and surround myself with the best people. Before I turn 24, join me in looking back at 24 of my favorite bucket list items. Maybe you will get inspired and add some of these items to your own bucket list (kind of like a remix on the infamous 30 Under 30 bucket list). Enjoy!

Peach Pickin’ at Schnepf Farms!

If you like peaches even a little bit, you need to add the Peach Festival at Schnepf Farms to your bucket list!

peach-festival-8

Last Sunday my little sister and I crossed off bucket list item #310: Peach Festival at Schnepf Farms! Unfortunately, the Peach Festival has ended but there will be other events at this farm. Make sure you keep an eye out for next May so that you can check out the Peach Festival!

It was such a blast, especially because my little sister joined me. When we arrived at the farm, I was a little shocked at how big the actual farm is. It seriously looked like it went on for miles (which it probably does). And because the farm is so big, the festival didn’t seem super crowded which is nice for those people who don’t like crowds.

Foam & Fun at the Phoenix Bubble Run 5K!

bubble-run-5k_final

Last Saturday, I was able to cross off bucket list item #20 (once again) when I ran another 5K! This year is definitely the year of running for me. Check out the video below of the Phoenix Bubble Run 5K to really get a sense of what the run was like (trust me, I got some pretty cool shots running through the bubbles). It’s only 2 minutes long, which I know you have time for! 🙂

I ran the Phoenix Bubble Run 5K with my 3 adult cousins, 3 baby cousins, and 1 friend and it was AN ABSOLUTE BLAST. I knew it would be interesting, but I had no idea how much I would laugh, cheer, and smile.

Bucket List Item #320: Monster Bubbles Completed!

This past week was a very exciting week for me, for my blog/Facebook page, and for all of you (my friends and readers)! First, I crossed off bucket list item #320: Check out Monster Bubbles at Paradise Valley mall, which was super exciting, random, and epic! It was an exciting week for my blog/Facebook page because we had our first giveaway! And it was an exciting week for you (my friends and readers) because one of you won the giveaway and joined me in crossing off a bucket list item!

Let’s jump right in! A few of you may ask ‘what is a Monster Bubble and why on Earth would you want to do that?’. Let me explain. A Monster bubble is a 9 foot tall gerbil ball (looks like a sphere) where people go in (like a hamster/gerbil) and run around and bounce all around an enclosed space. That might sound a little weird, but oh my gosh it was such a blast.

8 Reasons To Get The Scion iA!

This post is sponsored by Toyota. All opinions are my own.

As most of you who follow me on social media already know, this weekend I was in Long Beach, California having an absolute blast at the We All Grow summit. More details on all of the action there will be posted a little later so keep a look out. Today we are focusing on the transportation to this amazing conference. I was very fortunate to have been hooked up by Toyota Latino and Scion with two beautiful, sleek and sporty cars: the Scion iA and the Scion iM. As much as I wish I was able to drive both like a superwoman, I was only able to drive the Scion iA. My friend Sylvia drove the Scion iM and you can check out her review here. Now you all have all of the necessary information to make a good decision.

Lessons Learned In Europe!

Hi friends! This blog will be super short and sweet (hopefully) because I’m really exhausted and have decided to reserve all of my thinking power for my day job lol. I’ll be posting a few random lessons learned while in each country and while in Europe in general. The next few weeks will have more detailed blogs on what I did in each country!

Lessons learned in Belgium: (#mairainBE)

Before arriving in Belgium, I knew that Belgium was well known for its beer, chocolate and waffles. Let’s talk about beer. During my time in Belgium I learned that Belgians are proud of their beer, AND FOR GOOD REASON. Belgian beer is hands down the best beer I have ever tasted. Not only is it super flavorful, but it is all also super high in alcohol content. Literally the lowest ABV (alcohol by volume) was 12% lol. I took pictures of the majority of the beer and wine that I drank so in future blogs I will talk about my faves! P.S. – I’m such a beer snob now lol.

The Beginning

Hi! The moment is here! My website has officially launched (August 21,2015). I want to share a quote that has resonated with me since I first read it:

‘El exito es tener una idea, desarrollarla y lograr que sea de beneficio para todos’. It’s in spanish but it translates to ‘Success is having an idea, growing it, and having it be beneficial for everyone’.  A lot of people have asked me why I have started a blog and my main answer has been ‘I want to share my bucket list with people’. At this point, I personally feel like I have already achieved success with my bucket list. I had an idea, I am now sharing it (on a bigger platform that goes beyond Facebook and Instagram) and I already have people who are benefiting. I have friends and family members who have created their own bucket lists and who have stepped out of their comfort zone and taken some risks. I’m not sure where this blog will go but as of right now I am just very happy and feel incredibly lucky to be able to share this with you all. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the site! Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments! Thanks y’all 🙂

P.S. – I will be posting future bucket list items that I will be crossing off and asking for companions, so be sure to check out the News page often!
