The Ultimate Wine Bucket List!

Here at Enthusiastic About Life, we are huge fans of all sorts of different drinks. As I travel the United States, I love seeing how different states do wine. Check out all of the wine I’ve tried throughout the United States (and the world) and let me know which spot sounds the best!

Arizona

COOPER’S HAWK

If you’re want a restaurant with a great wine selection, then I highly recommend Cooper’s Hawk in Gilbert. The restaurant actually used to be a spa and it’s a great place to go for girls’ nights.

POSTINO WINE CAFE

Great atmosphere and you really can’t beat a bottle of wine and bruschetta for $20 on Mondays and Tuesdays!

THE GENUINE

If you’re looking for a trendy restaurant with great happy hour deals, I would definitely recommend The Genuine! They have a huge brick pizza oven so you know the pizzas are delicious and they have wine specials.

SORSO WINE ROOM

If you’re looking for a great spot for a girls’ night or just a fun spot to drink wine, I recommend Sorso Wine Room! They have a large selection of pour your own wine which makes it fun, and their appetizers are delicious! I particularly liked the bruschetta.

Maine

CELLARDOOR WINERY

I love the Maine Brew Bus because they take you all over Portland and encourage you to drink local beer, wine and spirits! Cellardoor has the most beautiful event space AND they welcome all wine lovers no matter how much wine knowledge you have (the important thing for them is that you like what you drink), and they have the best walls for random Instagram photo-ops.

Mexico

DON TOMAS VINEDO

Of course I had to feature the amazing wine from Don Tomas Viñedo in beautiful Valle de Guadalupe! I prefer red wine but there was just something about the white wine and rosè in Mexican wine country.

VENA CAVA

While in Valle De Guadalupe, we organized our own winery tour by researching a ton of wineries, selecting the ones that sounded the best, and then we hired a driver through our hotel to take us to each spot. Our first stop was Vena Cava Vinicola and we LOVED it! The wine was incredible and the staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. The winery was designed by Architect Alejandro D’acosta, and if you look near the top of this photo, you can see reclaimed fishing boats and other recycling materials which we thought was super cool!
