The Ultimate Valencia Bucket List!

If you love diversity of terrain and want to be in in the middle of the city and just a few moments later also be on a beach, then you need to make your way to Valencia, Spain! Check out all of my recommendations for when you visit!

Horchateria de Santa Catalina

If you’re in Valencia, you have to enjoy hot chocolate and churros at Horchateria de Santa Catalina. The hot chocolate is so thick and delicious and the churros are perfect to dip into the hot chocolate!

Go for a run in the ‘city of running’

Valencia is known as the city of running so of course I recommend you go for a run in one of the many beautiful trails in the city!

Playa de la Malvarrosa

Playa de la Malvarrosa in Valencia, Spain quickly became one of my fave beaches because it was so quiet and there weren’t a lot of people! Probably because it was cold when we visited in February but still such a beautiful beach!

Check out the Serrans Towers

The building behind my tree posing self is The Serrans Towers also known as Torres de Serranos. The towers were built between 1392 and 1398. The inspiration behind these towers was the monastery of Poblet, but these towers in Valencia are much larger. The monument has been declared of Artistic Historical Interest and you can experience beautiful views of Valencia.

Visit La Ciudad de Artes y Ciencias (City of Arts and Sciences)

The City of Arts and Sciences is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex in the Valencia. Not only is it one of the most visited places in Valencia due to having the largest aquarium in Europe, it also has some super cool architecture and you almost feel like you’re in the future! We got off on the wrong bus stop and had plenty of opportunity to explore as we made our way to the aquarium so of course we had a mini photoshoot.

Visit L’Oceanogràfic

The Oceanogràfic is the largest aquarium in Europe located within the City of Arts and Sciences (one of the 12 Treasures of Spain)!

I love aquariums because it’s almost always a much more immersive experience than a zoo and there’s always so much to learn.

I had the best time in Valencia and cannot wait to return. I hope this post inspires you visit.

Thank you all for reading, and stay enthusiastic!
