The Ultimate Positano Bucket List!

Positano had been on my bucket list for years! I had read so much about this cliffside village on southern Italy’s Amalfi Coast and wasn’t sure if it would be as picturesque as what I saw on social media. Spoiler alert, it was!

It was so beautiful and seriously looked photoshopped but be warned, there’s a ton of stairs so make sure you’re ready for that.

Check out the Ultimate Positano Bucket List and let me know I’ve convinced you to book a trip!

Where To Stay

We stayed at Buca di Bacco and it was perfect for us as it was right next to the main area, around a lot of restaurants, and we had the best views of Positano! Pictured above is the view from our room!

Breakfast was also included and the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Food & Drink

My favorite restaurant was Ristorante Max as the pork/sausage meatballs were amazing but there is so much to try here! Check out The Ultimate Positano Food and Drink Bucket List!

Here is a photo of the entrance and those infamous stairs I mentioned earlier! Make sure that you have comfortable shoes on as there are stairs everywhere!

What To Do

CHECK OUT A BEACH CLUB

Beach clubs are venues that sit on a beachfront location where you can reserve your spot online/via phone call and just show up with a bathing suit because most beach clubs provide chairs with umbrellas, towels, and showers. Most also have a restaurant where you can order food and drinks and eat it at the chairs or at the restaurant. It’s truly the best way to enjoy a day at the beach! Check out everything I learned from visiting Fornillo Beach Club here.

CHECK OUT THE CHURCH OF S. MARIA ASSUNTA

This church is right in the middle of Positano and it’s beautiful with tons of history. I personally love the way it looks at night!

GO TO A ROOFTOP BAR

If you want to check out an amazing rooftop bar with the best views of Positano, I highly encourage you to check out La Giara rooftop bar! Be warned, there’s a million steps to get here but it’s so worth it!

WALK AROUND AND EXPLORE

ENJOY THE VIEWS

Positano is known for its views so as you explore, make sure to take a moment to take it all in!

I had the best time in Positano and cannot wait to return. I hope this post inspires you visit.
