The Ultimate Sorrento Food and Drink Bucket List!

I fell absolutely in love with Sorrento and a huge factor was all of the delicious food! Check out all of my favorite restaurants in Sorrento and let me know which sounds the best!

Bagni Delfino

Bagni Delfino is a restaurant located in Marina Grande, a really cool area with restaurants, shops, and it’s right near the water so you’ll have amazing views of the Gulf of Naples as you eat.

We tried the Spaghetti alle vongole which comes with clams and it was excellent!

We also tried the Frutti di Mare spaghetti which includes a mixture of seafood: clams, mussels, squid. It was so flavorful!

Frankie’s Pizza Bar

One of my favorite things about traveling with Matt is that he likes to be spontaneous on trips and discover new restaurants. We did this in Sorrento and walked past Frankie’s Pizza and had to walk in because it smelled so good!!!

We tried the Margherita pizza and it was AMAZING!!! We ordered two pizzas and were so full but kept eating because they were that good lol. 🍕🍕🍕

The second pizza had potatoes and it was delicious but also super filling so be warned.

Hotel Bellevue Syrene

We stayed at the most beautiful hotel in Sorrento: Hotel Bellevue Syrene and we loved waking up to the breakfast buffet.

It was fantastic to have delicious food, tasty cappuccinos, and amazing views!

Hotel Bellevue Syrene Terrace

We also spent some time at the Terrace Bar having cocktails! The aperol spritz and negroni were both so tasty!

Il Buco

Il Buco was one of our favorite restaurants because not only does it have a well deserved Michelin Star, we also felt super VIP dining here. The service is amazing and you get so many courses with your meal!

The bread basket was beautiful and delicious.

They started us off with some complimentary appetizers.

I ordered the Spaghetti with lemon scented scorpion fish with bottarga (dried fish roe) and sun-dried tomatoes and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. I have never tried bottarga but it was incredible!

We also tried the lamb chop with potatoes and there was so much flavor!

The dessert was excellent as well! We tried the soufflé and I highly recommend.

O’Murzill

If you want a nice, casual spot to get the best Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, then I highly recommend you check out O’Murzill. We sat outside in an alley and it was the best way to enjoy this hearty dish of gnocchi in a delicious tomato sauce filled with cheese!
